Tour Overview
After being picked up at your Salzburg hotel, your journey will take you via country roads to Lofer and then on to Ellmau, where you will see one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the Alps, the famed “Kaisergebirge.” To get to
a beautiful photo area, you’ll take an off-the-beaten-path road. Take a beautiful photograph of that one-of-a-kind mountain range. Continue to Wattens for the Swarovski Worlds.
André Heller, a multimedia artist, built that unique and enchanting area in 1995. In May 2015, Swarovski Crystal World was remodeled and significantly enlarged outwards to accommodate an open space of crystalline nature known as “The
Garden.” The Giant is the first stop on the Tour of the Crystal Worlds. André Heller created the story of the giant who set out to discover the world’s treasures and wonders.
We recommend to focus on Innsbruck and do a quick visit of Swarovski (45 min). From there it will be a short drive to the old town of Innsbruck.
After a brief tour of Innsbruck explore the historical highlights of the old town such as the Golden Roof – landmark of Innsbruck, Imperial Palace, Church of the Black Knights’ – Hofkirche, and the city tower.
You will have 2 1/2 hours free time to explore the city by your own and possibly have lunch at a Tyrolean restaurant.
Return drive via Rosenheim to Salzburg.
After eight hours of exploring the city of Innsbruck and Swarovski, your private tour will conclude with drop-off at your Salzburg city hotel.
