Tour Overview

Meet your professional local guide and driver at your hotel in Innsbruck and board your luxurious minivan.

The tour begins with a drive over the Brenner Pass and then continues along a scenic road to Neustift Monastery. You will be awestruck when you arrive at Neustift Monastery, a spectacular medieval edifice that houses an early Christian
village from the 12th century.

Listen to your guide’s fascinating insights into the site’s history as you wonder at the old village surrounded by vineyards, the Neustift church, and the melancholy scenery that greets you at every step.

Your tour takes you further south to Vipiteno/Sterzing. Enjoy a South Tyrolean speciality in one of the many inns in the old town, after which there is time to explore the medieval town.

Following that, you’ll visit the Castle Reifenstein. The Castle is located in Freienfeld, near Sterzing, and is one of the best-preserved castles in South Tyrol.

Castle Reifenstein was first mentioned around 1100 as the Lehen of the Bayerischen Grafen Lechsgmünd, but by 1110 it had been granted to the Herren von Stilfes. They expanded the castle and named it “Reifenstein.”

Afterwards, this 8-hour
Innsbruck Private Tour will return to Innsbruck via the Brenner Pass.
